Beauty of South Africa

03/14/2019

The last two days in South Africa have been very eventful as we have seen the wonderful majesty and beauty that God has created. We started in the Lion Park and had the opportunity to really look at the lions close up and even had the opportunity to pet the cubs.

We then went to Pilanesberg National Park and got to go on an evening tour in an open air truck. We saw a rhino, lions, zebra, and topped the night off with a lioness drinking water that was in the road. She stayed around us for around twenty minutes and we got some wonderful pictures of her. Early the next morning we then had the opportunity to go on a morning tour where we saw many elephants and buffalo, rhino, and many other animals. It is just a wonderful experience and I had an opportunity to get to know the others on the trip a lot better. We had one of the graduates of SABC with us named Eddie. He actually went to America and got his Masters Degree and spent some years working before his return to South Africa. He has a very large church that he preaches at and he also teaches at SABC and does lectureships. It was really nice to get to know him.

Tomorrow morning, early again, we fly to Capetown and have a day of sightseeing. We will then meet with many of the graduates and have a time of teaching and fellowship with them on Saturday. We will then worship with multiple congregations in Capetown and fly back to Johannesburg on Sunday. We then start our long journey back on Monday. I look forward to updating you on how the church is doing in beautiful Capetown. God Bless!
